This handmade Dopp kit is made from 5/6 oz oil tanned leather for a sturdy build that makes this into a heritage piece to last for generations. It is trimmed with 4/5 oz veg tanned leather for added durability. The really cool thing about this combination is, in time, the oils from the bag leather will patina the veg tan leather, giving a beautiful aged look.
We call this “The Fighter” in honor of all the women fighting for justice, awareness, children, traditions, and themselves. As parents to four beautiful girls this has great meaning to us.
The leather is called “Hillbilly Copper” from the S.B. Foot tannery, the same tannery that provides leather to Red Wing Boots and Shoes.
